We wanted to live up to our name and pick our top 5 most romantic dates on the planet. If you are on your honeymoon, wedding anniversary, or just a couples trip to reconnect, here are some unique ideas (tried and tested by us!) that are sure to impress.
Dubai is the epitome of luxury, but going outside the city reveals a quiet desert landscape that leaves you feeling at peace. Enjoying some wine and charcuterie on a boat in Italy — it doesn’t get much better than that.
No city is more synonymous with romance than Paris (we are a little biased because we got married here!) During the day, you can head to Jardin Du Luxembourg for a relaxing walk, and then to rooftop restaurant Le Perchoir for lunch.
For dinner, Paris provides endless options, so one recommendation from us would be the Michelin-starred Septime. Refined, elegant yet unpretentious, the tasting menu here is worth every penny.
If you still have energy then grab a bottle of wine and head to Sacre-Coeur, where you will be surrounded by the dazzling lights of the city and live music.
As fans of the Bachelor, we had to get a helicopter date in here somewhere. There’s no better way to see New York than from above, so a private tour in a helicopter with champagne sounds pretty good. Once you get back on solid ground you can head to one of New York’s many phenomenal restaurants.
Two picks for dinner: First is Coqodaq, a new fine dining concept focused on fried chicken and a massive champagne list in an exquisitely designed setting. Second is Roscioli, one of the hottest names in Rome’s food scene that just opened a location in Soho with a tasting menu.
The perfect blend of relaxation and nightlife, Miami is a place we keep coming back to. South Beach is dotted with iconic art deco style hotels, so picking one can be challenging. Our pick is The Setai, which oozes the ostentatiousness Miami is known for, and is situated right by the beach.
Grab some sushi at Nobu or Blue Ribbon, or stop at Top Chef Winner Jeremy Ford’s Stubborn Seed for a Michelin star dinner. South Beach feels like the centre of a very fun universe.
